Tostadas are great party food. Tortillas are friend until golden brown and then used to layer different ingredients into a staick of 3 or 4 high. Usually made from corn tortillas though in some areas wheat tortillas are used instead. They look great on the table and are perfect for sharing!

Instructions
Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry each of the tortillas until golden brown and crispy. Stack tortillas in the folds of kitchen towel to absorb excess oil.
Then take shredded meat and mix with either red mole sauce, red chilli sauce or chipotle sauce using just enough to bind together. Heat in a frying pan for 5 minutes on a medium high heat.
Take this mixture and share evenly between 4 of the fried tortillas and then place another tortilla on top
For the second layer spread the refried beans and place another tortilla on top
For the third layer spread the guacamole and then place the last tortilla layer on top
