Hello Chilli Fans!
Well another month passes and we edge closer to winter. We've been keeping ourselves warm these last few days with a delicious Mexican style pumpkin soup http://bit.ly/uyOfhs, which has worked out quite well considering all the pumpkins around at the moment.
In this newsletter we talk about Day of the Dead, one of the most famous of Mexican celebrations, developments here at Capsicana and our usual recipes and events section.
Have a great November and enjoy bonfire night!

Chillies and people have a long history together and we've been using them in food preparation since at least 7500bc. They originate from South and Central Americas with evidence that they were the domesticated in Southwestern Ecuador over 6000 years ago, making them some of the very first plants to be cultivated by man. |

In southern India chillies are regarded as having a spiritual significance and it is customary for them to be hung at doorways and thresholds of houses to ward off evil spirits.
