Description: Cascabel are dried Bola chillies which originally came from south-west Mexico. Their name means "jingle bell" and refers to the rattle sound they make when shaken.

 

Origin: Our Cascabel chillies are grown and dried in the hot Mexican sun.

 

Heat:

 

Flavour: smokey with tones of liquorice

 

Use: Traditionally used in sauces. The people of Jalisco (south-west Mexico) use Cascabel to make Chilli Cora sauce.. Try them also in soups, stews and marinades.
