Description: Our Chipotle chillies are the most sought after variety of Chipotle and are called Chipotle Meco. They are Jalapenos cold smoked over mesquite for 2 days giving them their  beautifully tan coloured skin. Chipotle chillies are very traditional and have a great history, originating from central & southern Mexico where they pre-date the Aztec empire. They are now used extensively throughout Mexican cuisine.
