Description: Epazote is a herb native to southern Mexico and is traditionall used in bean based recipes - especially black beans. It has been used in Mexico for culinary and medicinal purposes since pre-Aztec times and is considered an essential ingredient of the Mexican store cupboard.

Origin: Our Epazote is grown in Mexico.

Flavour: Pungent flavours with hints of citrus/lemons

Use: Use in bean based dishes and in quesadillas, enchiladas. Combines well with Mexican oregano, cumin and chillies.
