Brazilian Chicken and Vegetable Skewers

I love re creating authentic Brazilian dishes. With my chicken skewers recipe you can easily re create a simple Brazilian Chruassco where meat is BBQ’d over long skewers over an open fire using my Brazilian Smoked Paprika and Spices Seasoning Mix!

Capsicana - Brazilian Paprika & Spices Latin America Seasoning
  • 2 Chicken Breast cut into cubes
  • 1 Large Onion cut into quarters
  • 2 Peppers cut into chunks
  • 1 Large Courgette cut into chunks
  • 1 Pack of Mushrooms cut in half
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Wooden or Metal Skewers

  1. Place the chicken cubes into a mixing bowl and add ½ the Brazilian Seasoning Mix, making sure the chicken is coated evenly, cover and put in the fridge to marinade for 30 minutes, season with a pinch of salt or to your tastes. Do the same with the chunks of vegetables with the other half of the Brazilian Seasoning Mix with 1 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Meanwhile soak the wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes, skip this step if you are using metal skewers.
  3. To make the chicken and vegetables skewers, thread the chicken, onions, peppers, courgettes and mushrooms onto the skewers and repeat, do this for each of the skewers.
  4. Cook the chicken and vegetables skewers on the barbecue or on a griddle pan on the stove, around 15-20 min., or until the chicken is fully cooked.
