Brazilian Prawn Stew
Did you know that my Chilli and Coconut Cook Sauce is based on the dish Moqueca’ (‘Mo-Keh-Kah’)? Famously from Bahia State North of Rio. It’s a flavoursome seafood stew. My Prawn Stew is a really easy way to re create this dish at home in twenty minutes!
- Cut the onion and pepper into thin strips.
- Heat the oil in a saucepan or deep frying pan over a medium heat and cook the onions and peppers for 4-5 minutes until softened.
- Add the water to the pan immediately followed by the Capsicana Brazilian Chilli & Coconut Cook Sauce, stir through and cook for a further 5 minutes with the lid on.
- Add the fresh king prawns replace the lid and cook for a further 3-4 minutes until the prawns are cooked through.
