Mexican Chicken Tinga

I love this Chicken Tinga! Make it using my Tomato & Chipotle Tinga Cooking Paste. It has a smoky flavour, with just a little heat from the chipotle – complemented perfectly by the sweet tomatoes. Enjoy!

Capsicana - Tomato & Chipotle Tinga Cooking Paste
  • 300g Chicken Breast
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 1 Green or Red Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil

  1. Add 300g of chicken strips (or alternative), a chopped onion and pepper to a pre-heated frying pan with one tbsp of oil and fry for 8-10 minutes over a medium heat, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through.
  2. Add the Capsicana Tomato & Chipotle Tinga Cooking Paste and stir through, adding 1-3 tbsp of water to achieve the desired consistency.
  3.  Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately with warmed tacos or tortillas.
